My Dream On One Of The Horcux's!

I had a dream the other night about what one of the Horcuxes to be! You know how they said Nagini the snake, The cup, the locket and something from Gryfindor or Ravenclaw? Well I had a dream that it was something from Gryfindor and that it was the Sorting Hat!! It was his hat!! And my dreams useally come true!!! Do you thinkk it could be the Sorting Hat???

Hmmm! Was the sorting hat actually Gryffindors? I know it says somewhere in the books, but I don't remember. Anyways. that seems like a very interesting idea... The only problem I have with it is that I don't quite understand how Voldemort would have gotten to the hat to make it a horocux. Then again, do you have to actually be by the horocux to make it? I would think so...

The Sorting Hat wasn't Gryffindor's, but that's a very good idea to think about. But then, wouldn't Voldemort's piece of soul be destroyed if the Sorting Hat was re-used every year, all those years?

I remember the hat's song saying that it belonged to Griffindor.

I forget which book. When did Harry arrive in time for the sorting?
Books four and five? And in the fifth the hat starts giving advice,
so my memory must be from the fourth book.

Intresting topic it could be the hat ... but its been in hogwarts ever since the school was opened. And Tom Riddle was sorted by it so it couldnt be the hat +

Interesting note.But like someone said,how did Lord Voldemort get to the hat to make it a Horcrux?
