Hi I am a newbie so not sure how this works but will go ahead.
I don't think he will change he is too much like his father and though his father is frightened to say his name he is obviously a lot braver than Draco and Draco wants to prove something to his father. If anything he will become worse than his father and after not being able to kill Dumbledore he will be out showing them all he can do it.
