I've read several Harry is a Voldermort horcrux theories and think it is a possibility. My theory is that Harry could be a horcrux for Snape. This could be the reason Voldemort's curse was deflected and the reason Dumbledore trusts Snape completely. Snape knew Voldemort's plans to kill Harry ahead of time and alledgely was remorsely - Dumbledore could has put the screws to Snape and forced him to prove his loyalty in this fashion (I think it is pretty clear that Snape had killed before and split his sole). Question: at the end of the 4th book, Dumbledore was very pleased that Voldemort was wrong about the nature/origin of Harry's protection - could this fit with a Snape theory? Question: Who is Neville's toad Trevor? It seems clear that the toad is looking for something in the castle. Could Trevor be Regulus Black? Question: Could Draco be the subject of the 'prophecy'? This would allow both Voldemort and Harry to survive the 7th book and it seems unlikely that Voldemort will be entirely defeated. Dumbeldore said several times that evil is never completely defeated.

Whoa guys! Voldemort can only store his raggedy soul in something that doesn't have a soul of its own like an object or an animal. People wouldn't qualify as a horcrux. Book 6 tells us that if Voldemort loses his soul, he will die. So maybe only a dead person could be used as horcrux. Book 6 does mention the Inferi. Maybe they are all flying horcruxes. Uh oh. Now I'm starting to confuse myself.......... ![]()

Psyduck: Heck yes! Trevor the Toad is an excellent choice! Points! I forgot about Trevor the Toad and Hermione's cat, Crookshanks and of course Harry's owl, Hedwig. Crikey. They could all be horcruxes. It's getting crowded in here. Will someone please change the gerbil bedding?!#* (grin)
