New Rab Theory

No one has mentioned Madame Rosmerta as RAB yet. I know that Rosmerta is her first name not last and she did figure into HBP pretty heavily. They said it was an imperius curse but how do we know??

I don't think its Rosemerta. The letter said the person knew they'd be dead when this locket was found so how could it be her! I think it'll probably be Sirius' brother.

exactly, probably be dead. I was just throwing out another idea b/c I think that we are all focusing on regelus but I mean if JKR wanted to leave us with a mystery she might have made it less obvious.

ya and we dont know wen this RAB person took the locket RAB could have taken it a few years b4 haryy and dumby got there it could have been a few days a few minutes we dont know how long the fake locket was there until we know we cant say who RAB is i mean we arent jk we dont know wen it was taken or by whom so to automatically assume it is regulus is stupid cuz we dont know every one with the first name r plus we may not even know if it is someone who introduces them self w/ another name like tonks if lupin wouldnt have said her first name to us we would have believed her name was tonks as she had said it was so w/o proof we cant assume to know who RAB is

Yes, I thought of Rosemerta too. She isn't afraid of dementors, just bad for buisness. She wasn't afraid of Black when he was loose, just said he knew her- as in ' Deatheater' possibley was what she meant- somehow who let Voldemort know about the Potters wasn't known by Deatheaters then either. And she can do other things we don't know of yet, that she makes poisons but is a bar girl- a little odd - just like Tom being a store worker- cirlce ideas that JK says that there are clues to mislead us. We think it has to be 2 people, but Voldemort set the horcrux in 1 place expeciting 1 person to find it if he told them how to do it. What if she knew more than Dumbldor and 1 of Voldemorts souls forgot he told her???
