Snape Death Eater Or Not?

Has anyone thought that Dumbledore might have told Snape to kill him so that Snape would get closer to Voldemort to kill him? Dumbledore could have been very ill to begin with.

Also that Dumbledore's pet is a phoenix? Could Dumbledore also return from the ashes?

Book 7 promises to be the most exciting book yet as Potter and his friends find the peices of Voldemort's evil soul!

Just because this series ends does not mean that Harry cannot begin a new adventure as maybe a teacher of Defense aga?inst the dark Arts at Hogwarts

Snape kill Voldy? I think not. Harry's got that job.

I think Dumbldore DID tell Snape to kill him, but the reason is a bit obscure currently. Despite all of Snapes justifications to Bellatrix, the one thing he didn't explain, and Bellatrix didn't know about was why he returned to Grimmauld place and alerted the Order to the fact that Harry and Company had gone to the ministry. I don't think Snape is evil. But I do think Dumbledore is dead, though we may get to enjoy his company in the office portrait if Harry ever has an opportunity to be there.

I hope (for my sake at least) that you are both right, but I'm having a hard time forgetting the look of hatred and revulsion that Snape had looking at Dumbledore right before he killed him.

Definately a Death Eater. Have not doubted that he wasn't since we first found out that he was. I also think that Dumbledore let himself be killed. Even without a wand, Dumbledore would be a force to be reaconed with.

i don't think dumbledore told snape to kill him because when it comes to the crucial point where harr has to kill voldemort dumbledore knew he would have to support and help harry. i believe that snape killed dumbldore for selfish reasons. it is truly sad that dumbledore died because i was depending on him to help harry AND his friends true this i believe that not only harry would be going on the lourney of killing voldy but his friends also.

there is a alot of bad memories(sp) related to it and for the idea that he would teach DADA . he is supose to be an Auror

Well the answer is not clear, I do think that dumbledor knew he was going to be killed I just don't think he thought it to be so soon. I think he was hopeing snape would rather die, but he was wrong about snape if that is true.

One thing you have to remember is if JKR inforces it she means it, and all thru that book she inforced that Snape was trust worthy. Why would she do that?
