as soon as i finished the book, i thought that harry's scar was a horcrux, dumbledore said that voldemort would have made one on the night he tried to kill harry but something went wrong so the horcrux is the scar and its what gives harry some of voldemorts powers and the mind connection, but i dont think he will have to kill himself to kill voldemort, but we do know that the last word of book 7 is scar, and dumbledore was wrong when he said that the sword was the only thing left of gryffindors, the sorting hat also belonged to godric gryffindor, oh and i think jk rowling said godrics hollow was important as a name, so i think harry will definitly find a horcrux there
[/b]
at the end of the otp voldy possed harry and tried to get dumbledor to kill him maybe they are so connected that they will both have to die to get rid of voldemort

I don't buy into the accidental horcux theory. I imagine the transfering part of ones soul would be complicated magic, not just a word and the swish of a wand. Harry and Voldemort are connected because of a mothers undying love. The killing curse failed to cause death, yet such a powerful curse is bound to leave some lasting magic, to effect one profoundly. I do believe the last horcrux is right under Harry's nose, and something none of us expects.

I dont think its riddles trophy because when he got the trophy he had to end the chamber of secrets and that was kind of like a defeat for him and he wouldn't want to put part of his soul in something that in his eyes was a failure because he didn't get rid of all the muggle borns

Just because he had to close the chamber of secrets, doesn't neccessarily make it a failure. It was reopened when it was "safe" to do so again. It did result in Myrtles death the first time. And Tom was honored, and not suspected in the crime. He was successful at causeing a death, and getting away with it. Plus, Hogwarts was his only "home". The award is his link to his home.

I had an idea that although unlikely, the sword of Gryffindor could be a Horcrux. And can you try to make your sentences a little easier on the eyes? I had trouble reading your post.
