Who Is R. A. B. ?

I highly doubt that Rita is married, that her maiden name began with a "B", if that is what someone is trying to get at....

As much as you like Rita, Rita couldn't be R.A.B seeing as she is not only cowardly, but since when has she ever reffered to Lord Voldemort as "The Dark Lord" I agree that it has a VERY high possibility to be Regulus Black.

yes it might be but it is not the only possibility i am jsut trying to say that i do not think it is regulus how would he have done it alone dumby is like the greatest wizard ever and he needed help how would regulus do it alone and if he did do it with someone else they would want to be mentioned if ur gonna do something to spite voldy ur not gonna lie he would know it so there is no point in lieing i dont know about the rita idea cuz shes not that bright at all but sure who knows we will not know til the 7th book comes out

well it is a possibility that it was regulus but he just isnt the best bet he could not have done it alone and why would the other person involved not want to sign the note if ur gonna do something to pissoff voldy then u may as well admit it cuz he is gonna find u and kill u anyway so why lie u cant lie to voldy unless ur really good

I like the idea of Borgin or Burkes as RAB because the mind immediately goes to the Black family, however, I just can't get past the passing mention of a locket and ancient seals. What if these seals belonged to either Griffindor or Ravenclaw. in Order of the Phoenix. What is the significance of Harry owning this real estate if not to have possession of these items. I also posit this: What if Regelus is not dead? I mean how long was Pettigrew presumed dead but not. Would Kreacher have to listen to Harry if Regelus was still alive. Would that be magically known?

Regalus seems a little too obvious. It could also be Amelia Bones if she went by her middle name and her first name started with R. Maybe when he starts to think about it Harry will remember seeing a name with the initials RAB in the files he was working on during detention with Snape. Possibly a fellow classmate of Tom's who put the pieces together on his or her own later?

I reckon Draco will join sides with Harry and in the end they will fight Voldemort. Harry will kill Voldemort and then he will ask Draco to kill him just like Dumbledore asked Snape to kill him.
