Default What do you guys think?
I don't think I've ever heard this theory somewhere, it just struck my mind on some sunny day.

What do you guys think Lily and James's occupation was?
I don't really think they were "too rich to be unemployed" or something.
Obviously they worked for the Order of the Phoenix, but personally I think that them being Aurors would be way too easy.
So my theory is that they might have had worked as Unspeakables for the Department of Mysteries.

This would of course explain A LOT! It would relate to the happenings in Book 5, Sirius's death, the Veil, the room that cannot be openend, and maybe it would even explain why Voldemort offered Lily a chance to live. What do you think?

JKR said they were full-time members of the Order, and both Lily & Remus were supported by James's wealth.

i dont think they had jobs at all
i mean i guess they could have been aurors. but i think james might have been a quidditch player
because after they heard about the prophecy they went into hiding
