Will Harry Potter live or die?

Rita Skeeter asks if Harry will die in Year 7. What do you think?

I think already that he will die. but I don´t hope it.
If he dies, nobody could continue the story. ( fan fic´s or something)

ahhh! i have the greatest but saddest idea. i think that Harry Potter is a horcrux and that he will have to kill himself to kill Voldemort. u probly think im krazy right about now...

I think hes going too...I mean it only makes sense,what would hapeen after that? It would keep us wanting more..

Are you crazy? You can't kill Harry! No offense to Roniscute14, but if Harry's a Horcrux, why does Voldemort keep trying to kill him? I think if any of the trio dies it will be Hermione, because when I was looking for clues, I realized 2 very significant things. 1: she'll help Harry no matter what, and obviously he needs to kill Voldemort, doesn't he? 2: she doesn't really know what she want's to do after Hogwarts, and in every book I've ever read, not thinking of your future is a death ticket. I mean, Harry and Ron both want to be Aurors, don't they? I mean, I don't think anyone wants one of the trio to die, but I do think it's most likely that if one of them does, it'll be Hermione.

I think a good way to end the book is to kill Harry off but who knows? It is either going to be Harry or someone else out of there trio.

I have a question. It just now ocurred to me. Why can't this book have a happy ending? I've heard all kinds of theories, but not one of them has a happy ending. Why not? Why can't the book end with Harry destroying Voldemort without killing one of the trio???

the reason no1 thinks that it will be a happy ending is because JKR clearly stated that her readers would be very disapointed. or they have some reason of their own..

I think that the only way that JKR can "retire" the HP series is for Harry Potter to die. Think of the scams that other people could get if JKR doesn't kill Harry Potter. It is a shame though. I think that there will be spin offs though. Maybe an entire series on Neville.

I hate this. One of the most famous book series of our time and everyone think the main character will die? Almost everyone who has ever read the books loves harry. If he does die, I hope the last book at least takes a few years. I mean, if that's the case, then it wouldn't be quite as sad, because then at least his life would be a little bit longer.
Is that a depressing optimistic point of view, or what?
