you missunderstand me, i will be gutted for the Weasleys and all related characters, however i do beleive that percy's insufferable incapability to comprehend the clear and the obvious will not be a loss to the plot of HP

I don't know. There's a possibility that Percy might be a major player in the next book. He's making his way up at the Ministry. We could be in for some real plot twists because of him. I think he'll eventually come around to the aid of his family at some point, obnoxious prick though he is now. Blood being thicker than....you know what I mean.

nah i think his character has run its full course, i think his parents would let bygones be bygones but the twins, ron, ginny, bill and charlie? doubt that some how, blood may be thicker than water, but memories of two years of exile do not fade quickly

Yes , I think all of us would be cheerful if Percy comes around and aid Harry and the Weasleys .

Maybe someone should start a new thread about the DADA teacher for book 7.
