| This goes back to the famous interview question: Was someone else in Godrick's Hollow that night? -- to which JKR replied, "No Comment." Theories abound that it was Snape. I say it was Peter. Snape didn't know where the place was and I can't think of a reason for the Secret Keeper to tell him. If Peter was there, he could easily have picked up the wand and move it to a safe hiding place. It was also Peter who found Voldemort and helped him to restore his body. Voldemort had the wand long before Snape or anyone else knew that Voldemort was back. I've also been wondering whether the Pensive would allow Harry to review a memory from when he was fifteen months old. That would settle it. Last edited by Psyduck : 11-29-2007 at 06:57 PM. |

| I think you're right about Snape not being the one. And if it was Peter, he must have hidden it before he turned into the Weasly family rat. Another wand question if you please: Where is Dumbledore's wand now? It fell off the tower if I remember correctly. And what truth is there to the theory that a wizard's wand is broken in two and placed with him in his coffin? |

Harry said he was going to put it "back where it came from," which I presume meant back with Dumbledore's corpse. Yecch. I'd love to hear a better answer. -- or are you asking about Dumbledore's childhood wand, before he took the Elder wand from Gvendelwhatsit? Felix who? |
