Never thought we were. We're just opinionated.

I've changed my opinion though. Not about Harry being a horcrux (thats a given) but about Dumbledore having one somewhere. I used to think he had a horcrux through which he might come back. I read this article which I also posted at "Proof: Dumbledore not dead" in the book 7 section. It changed my outlook on things. I now think that Dumbledore didn't die in the first place. It was all staged. But it seems as though I might be one of the last people in the forum to read it. Been in the dark too long.

Any thoughts on Dumbledore staging his death.

well.. lol i think he did die.. I read an artical where it stated that JK said that he did in fact die but will play a major part in the 7th book.. Im guessing he will come back as a portrait or a ghost.. I do think that he told snape to do it.. Because he was getting old and was going to die anyway.. Dumbledore told him to do it because he wanted snape to still be in the good graces of Voldemort.

at least we both agree that Sirius is alive and Snape is innocent.

There's good reason for Dumbledore wanting Voldemort to think that he's dead. Vt has been very careful so far, not too many personal appearances. Once he learns that Dumbledore is dead (which he is not) he may become reckless, which would give the OOTP a chance to attack. Severus gets even closer to Vt. I think this is a win win situation for the good guys. Dumbledore knows that he may be one of the very few people that can take Vt down (help Harry take Vt down - going by the prophecy). He wouldn't leave this to chance.

Hey!! Full moon tonight. Make sure Lupin takes his potion.

i found the interview that JK says Dumbledore is dead...

Rowling: Well, Salman... your opinion, I would say, is right. But I see that I need to be a little more explicit... and say that Dumbledore is definitely dead. And I do know there's an entire website that's name is DumbledoreIsNotDead.com, so I imagine they're not happy right now. But I think I need.... You need... All of you need to move through the five stages of grief [audience and JK laughs] and I'm just helping you get past denial. So, I can't remember what's next, it may be anger, so I think we should stop it here. Thank you

I've heard about this interview before. I think I might have seen the transcript before also. Thanks though. I've also encountered others who seem to think that she might be leading us on with her statments here. Everyone has there own interpretation of things of course.

Answer me this question. I've posted it at another site, but nobody's answered yet. Is a wizards wand supposed to be snapped in two and placed with him in his coffin? Dumbledore's wand fell off the tower the night he was supposed to have died. Where is it now?
