Oh, of course they'll be re-made, eventually.
I'm old, so I just might not live to see it. But you guys will.
Think of me, and have a White Russian for me.

King Kong comes to mind first -- that was done at least three times.
They just re-made Charlotte's Web, for crype's sake.
Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (never liked that one).
Lord of the Rings...
Help me out, guys. Name a move that's been done more than once.

And since you mentioned it, I happen to like baloney.
-- er, balogna. Preferably with provolone, mayo,
maybe a little lettuce and tomato, perhaps on a soft rye...

Movies that have been re-done:

Dawn of the Dead
The Poseidon Adventure
Of Mice and Men
Cape Fear
Father of the Bride
Dracula
Fun with Dick and Jane
The Producers
The Amityville Horror
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Evil Dead

The list is way too long to continue...
I think that there is a chance that the Harry Potter movies will be remade, but as was previously said, it won't be until much further down the road..

yes eventually they will be remade... maybe by a fan that was unsatisfied. It will be several years from now at the very least... say... about.. 20.

I agree. I think that if the movies happen to be remade they won't be as good as the original ones, which weren't all that great in the first place, ya kno.

Maybe they'll even get Mad-Eye's eye right.
(stupidest looking thing I ever saw.)
