Harry's Scar

Harry will definetily not be going back to hogwarts during the end of the summer he will go and visit the Weasleys for The wedding. And then set of to look for the horecxus. < I am very certain that that will happen im not sure if ron and herimonie will go with him but i know harry will try to get them not to go he does'nt want them to get hurt.

yea but even if he doesn't want them to get hurt you kno that they will still go and won't listen to harry telling them not to

true but we do know that the spell that Voldermort used was the Avarda Kadvera. It has clearly been pointed out to us

yes but regularly avada kadavra is supposed to kill people but it didnt kill harry because of lily's love so in that case it wasnt't the same as the spell usually works so its possible that the old magic worked a certain way because in the 6th book it says that he wanted harry to be the last horcrux he makes because when u kill people u cut ur soul so maybe in trying to kill harry with the spell something went wrong causing the horcrux aka the scar to be put on harry

The odds of Harry being a horcrux are very slim. I would bet that in order to make a horcrux you would have to kill the person first then make the horcurx using very complex magic. Harry did not die because Lily loved him. The spell rebounded upon Voldemort and left him in a half life making him unable to make a horcrux. I would think all his horcruxes where made before he tried to kill harry. The lightning bolt is a scar not the sign of a horcrux.

true but it's not just a scar she didnt make him have a scar for show it has to have some meaning to it besides a sign of lily's love/avada kedavra like why is it lightning bolt shaped and not something else its there for more then just show it has a meaning behind it jk rowling is known for that sort of stuff she wouldnt just make him have the scar for fun

yes it is there for a reason. but we already know why. it is there because the curse backfired. there may be more to it but if its because he's a horcrux..... well lets just say i'll have to read it to belive it

the scar is there so show his mothers sacrifice... voldamort wanted to kill him not make him part of himself.. so I don't think he is..... but only time will tell..

Harry's scar may be unique altogether, but Rowling introduces new magic into each book and may need to do so again to explain what Harry's scar really is...

While we're on the subject of Harry's scar, does anyone have any new theories on the final word of the final chapter being "scar".


Will someone say it? "Harry, what happened to your scar?"

Is someone seeing it on his forehead at his funeral? "If we had only known all this trouble was because of that scar...

Is his future wife running her finger down it?
