Hermione1990's signature -- "Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory."

Were the Diggorys there?

No Stan Shunpike, obviously.

The Diggory's aren't mentioned. Neither are the MacMillans, or the Patil's (given that the twins had been withdrawn from the school). Was Mrs. Edgecombe there? Marietta's Mum. (Marietta - Cho's friend - the girl who squealed on the DA the previous year to Umbridge.)

Was it mentioned if Aberforth was there? I don't think he was, but I could be wrong. If I'm right, I find it very curious that Albus's own brother (according to HP Lexicon) didn't turn up to pay his respects. Very curious, indeed.

That thing about Aberforth isn't that bad an idea. He's been mentioned in the books at least twice, and as i have said in other threads-she doesn't put something in the book for nothing. Everything in that book is in there for a reason. No matter how big it is.

Plus, the only way that the HP Lexicon could know he was DD brother would really be cause she said somewhere.

Plus, he's the barman at the Hog's Head, he can hear things. Get my drift?

J.K. confirmed that the bar man is Aberforth. And by the way Phoenix, not everything in the books is in there for a special reason. Alot of things are just put in there as fillers, to make it more interesting and to stop the readers attention from straying. All authors do it. And not every secondary character is going to play a big part.

Aberforth already has played an important part.
He exists.
He shows that Dumbledore had a childhood,
that he is not Ron sent to the distant past.

When did you abandon that theory?

And who even said that he was Ron sent into the future?

If that was true, then McGonagall would have to be Hermione. They are both stright upwards academic.

and Harry would be...MOODY!!!

Aren't those ideas that are tossed espounded on Mugglenet and then discussed here? Harry,Ron and Hermione might have similarities to Moody, Dumbledore and McGonogall, but I don't think they are those three as kids coming back from the past.
