I meant that people always say to Harry he has his mother's eyes. I thought that might be part of why Lily's eyes might be important in the 7th book.

There is also the adage that says the eyes are the window to the soul. Could be that JK only meant that Lily and Harry are kindred spirits -- that they share a unique outlook on life? But I gotta admit, it'd be more satisfying to read that there's something more tangible in the connection between them than just their eye color.

I didn't realy pay that close att to eye color. I think that harrys eyes being the same as lillys is important.

Anyone notice how contrasting Voldemort and Harry's eye colors are. Red and green. Perhaps to signify opposites or opponents.

when first reading: "look....at......me..." i thought that snape ment: look at my state, where im ending....not that he wanted to look into harrys/lillys eyes..
