We do not actually see the body at all, let alone touch it, during or after the "funeral." A closed casket, at the funeral of someone like Dumbledore? It doesn't seem likely.

There's more than one way to show respect at a funeral. At what point are you supposed to see the body? It wrapped in the cloth and then the casket closed magically.

I do not remember DD being grievously disfigured or grusomely mangled. There should have been a wake.

You have no idea Psy, how much I LOVE this theory and wish this is what J.K had written. It makes 100% sense and I woulda loved it!
As I was readin it, it reminded me of the days before DH when I used to read these badass theories. Now I can only wish that J.K had read them and WROTE A BETTER BOOK!
