Oh... yes. I remember now!

I think that Ron and Voldemort are the two who already died. I think anyone else may be Snape or a member of the Order of the Pheonix.
Hhmm

Snape is too central to the plot. He won't change so late in the game.
Whatever happens, whether he makes it or not, JKR has known for years.

[size=1]Oh, those piggies. I never get tired of that picture (see avitar, left). Even with the "three little piggies" covering my desktop.

(post revision starts here)

I Can't justify another post. This drifting is getting out of hand. <_<
But the drifting is about our little pork chops. :P

The picture on the bottom is the current crop.
Tara on the left, Pam and Calista.
Pam is the old lady of the bunch.
The version of that picture on my computer covers half of the screen.

JKR had the general idea of the story in her head before the first book was even published.
A good story is written backward.
You figure out where you want to go and then figure out how you got there.

Snape, whether he is good or evil, whether he lives or dies, is too central to the plot for JKR to change at this late date. He is not an after-thought or a detail.

He killed (or pretended to, whatever) Dumbledore and escaped, everyone thinks he's a big slimy traitor and you're doubting if he's central to the plot??!

Snape is a troubled man destined for death (I reckon) because he's on some quest for absolution (I think) but he'll do good (saving Harry-I imagine) on the way.[/b]
I agree with this.

If Snape is innocent and manages to prove this to Harry then maybe he won't die, unless Voldy and his gang do it. But if he is evil then Harry will kill him. Harry's already said he'll do this.

No way will JKR let Harry kill an innocent.
He will try -- he already has tried.
But it's just not gonna happen.

I don't think Harry will kill Snape either.

I did say 'will want to' kill him not 'will.' And we still don't KNOW if Snape is innocent we just think he is.
