randi_freaks (formerly danielrulesthemall) and I as well as another guy who may join this site, were in the chat room discussing something interesting tonight. This may have been discussed before, but I haven't seen anything, so I thought I'd bring it up.

We were discussing in what manner Voldemort is going to die. We all agreed that it won't be the Avada Kadavara, that would just be way too anticlimactic. We also agreed that it would have to pertain to love in some fashion. Many signs point in this direction. My question to you all is, how do you think this has the potential to play out? In what way could love destroy Voldemort?

(sigh) You just killed my theory. The dementors can't finish Voldemort.
But they can still help with the horcruxes, especially if Harry happens to be one.

I thought the dementors were with Voldemort... am i wrong? But it would make sense voldemorts death pertaining to love. and a dementors kiss. The kiss of a dementor would be a lovely way for Voldemort to die!

It's interesting to note that in book 6 Dumbledore tells Harry why it is that Voldemort is no longer doing legillimens on Harry using the scar connection - because Voldemort could not bear to be in a body so full of love, the one thing that he can't understand. Given that Voldemort used Harry's blood in the potion... I don't know, in the magical world can you get love through blood? Not sure if that's making sense.

I see what you mean. But wouldnt that have an effect by now? Its been two years since voldemort returned using harry's blood. You would think by now it would have an effect if love can be passed through blood.

Yep, I knew that was a fault with my theory, but forgot to put it in last night. I'll keep thinking on it.

You guys,I have 2 agree with Paddawan I mean if love does have a thing 2 do with it wouldnt it have an effect by now,it has been 2 years hes had Harry's blood.

I was always wondering about the connection between Harry, Ron and Hermione's wands. They each have a different magical core. Maybe it's got nothing to do with anything, but then maybe it helps in killing Voldy. But then maybe the only connetion is that it was the wands that brought them together as friends. But then maybe i'm just going on about something completely irrelevent.
I've just realised how obsessed i am with "but then maybe" in this post but i cant be bothered to change it all.

Ooh. I never thought of that. Some magical combination, the effect being greater than the sum of its parts. I like that. Bring the symbolism into tangiable form.

What are their cores, anyway?

That could work.

Our Jo has said that the trio have the three major magical cores in their wands, so I presume that means that they represent the three sides of a 'complete' magical person.
Ron- Unicorn tail
Hermione- Dragon heart string
Harry- Pheonix feather (Fawkes's)

I've pondered on this ''V has Harry's blood' and 'Dumb has a gleam in his eye' because of it' thing and I think it MIGHT have something to do with a 'life debt'. I mean we were introduced to Wizard Life Debt fleetinfly with Petigrew and then reminded of it with the Unbreakable Oath, but it hasn't been explained that well; it habgs there as a potential story line...???
