Yeah but there must be other ways to change the appearence for longer. I know Dumbledore is probably dead i just have a hope that he will return. Another reason for life would be a horcrux but i dont see dumbledore as the type to have a horcrux.

The begining of Snape the death stopper. Talks of the first book and how snape says you can stop death. I have read it . i agree thats how it could go but i like my polyjuice potion theory because it kills Snape.

Dumbledore is not crazy and would not commit suicide. I don't need to go into denial or wishful thinking. It just doesn't make sense. A well-ordered mind could accept the idea of his own death, but would not plan it himself. Faking his death would serve a purpose. Actually killing himself would serve no purpose. -- I just thought of another smart reason to fake his own death: If Voldemort believes Dumbledore died to protect Harry... Voldemort has seen that movie before and might not be as eager to attack.

Dumbledore is dead...he was weakened by the potion and snape came along and killed him...end of story... dumbledore does not have a horcrux...he was not using the polyjuice potion...dumbledore was dumbledore and snape was snape....lets all accept it and move on
