| Now that you mention it... Dovoted Trekkies, when discussing the absurdities of the original series, would acknowledge in so many words, "We forgive because it's Star Trek." We would laugh and count the times a certain technical error was made, or the times the plot was self-contradictory or shallow or painfully predictable. (A new guy? He's dead. The only question is, how long will it take?) We were subsequently spoiled by The Next Generation, and ESPECIALLY Deep Space 9. Flawless, with depth to the characters and the plots... Yet still we could come back to reruns of the original series and forgive. You just gave me something to ponder. Maybe it's the age of the audience? If you were under a certain age when the first Harry Potter came out, does that make you more forgiving? Did it get into your soul the way Star Trek got into mine? |

well in that she wrote down like a time line of all the charcters who survived and what happend to them next.. she said she needed to do it so she had closure herself.. like she needed to wrap up the world she created.. if ya get me... i personally think it would be awesome if she wrote Hogwarts:a history.. Hermiones always going on about it.. itd be a good read |

| You know what is the most amazing part of the Harry Potter series is how well everything fits together, I mean everyone she mentions in the first book is the same as the others when referenced later and how she gives you the pieces to the puzzle the whole time like Flamel and RAB, but does it in a non-conspicous manner that you don't notice. |
