Harfang Longbottom
On Rowling's Black Family Tree, a Harfang Longbottom married Callidora Black, daughter of Arturus Black. No dates for Harfang, but Callidora was born in 1915 and appears to still be alive (no death date) (BFT).
Name origen: In French, an 'Harfang des neiges' is a snowy owl.

maybe far fetched but it made me think.

It is a bit interesting that the blacks were related to the Longbottoms. It probably has no real meaning but it is interesting.

Hedwig an Animagus? Sure, why not?! According to some, basically everyone in the Harry Potter books are animaguses, so let's just add one more to the ranks!

But I'll admit that this is more credible than most theories. It actually has some evidence, though it's probably just a coincidence. Well spotted but.

Very interesting. A definite possibility. It is also quite interesting that the Blacks and Longbottoms are related by marriage. I never noticed that. Or at least, I didn't remember it.
