This topic is sort of like a religion...those who don't get it don't want to get it...I've given up trying to convince people. They'll never understand if their minds aren't open.

That's kind of the point. Why would she work so hard just to kill him off?
And why would Dumbledore himself?
You can't escape the evidence that Dumbledore himself was in on the plot.
He is not crazy enough to kill himself.

(If I were going to go to so much trouble to make myself
appear dead, I'd want to be around to enjoy the effect.)

I think that it will take JK to convince me otherwise, sorry.
