Exactly.

I've given up trying to argue the "Dumbledore is alive" argument, because some people just don't get it, and they don't want to get it. . .

Even though I don't believe that Dumbledore's alive, I still like alot of your theory's about how he could be, and they all make sense, and if it does end up he's alive in the seventh book, you can pm me and put, "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!" in huge, bright red letters! That should cheer you up!

Ok i think harry potter is godric gryffindors last remaining relative because:
1) his parents lived in Godric's hollow (GODRIC gryffindor)
2) he pulled out the sword from the sorting hat and dumbledore said only a "true" gryffindor could have done that
3) it would make a perfect strory line that the last heir of slytherin and last heir of gryffindor have like a last epic battle like 1000 years later.

Also i think that dumbledores brother is the bar tender at hog's head becuase he said his brother dissapeared after a goat accident and when harry walks into the hogs head for the DA they said the place smelled odly of goats

They were friends.
They had a difference of opinions and parted company.

Well, I seem to have started a great debate!
I do not know if Dumbledore is dead or alive. There is evidence for both sides of the story, and probably a lot of this evidence could be disregarded. (Yes, even the ideas I came up with!) I just don't know....and the truth is none of us will until the seventh book. Ah well.

Revulsion and Hatred. Both Snape and Harry hated what they were doing. I already supected that, but it's interesting to note that JK used almost exactly the same wording to hint at this.


Also, at Dumbledores funeral, the body burst into flames.

Remember in PoA when Harry was doing his homework, he had to read about Medieval Witch Burnings?

Non-magic people (more commonly known as muggles) were particularly afraid of magic in medieval times, but not very good at recognizing it. On the rare occasion that they did catch a real witch or wizard, burning had no effect whatsoever. The witch or wizard would perform a basic Flame Freezing Charm and then pretend to shriek with pain while enjoying a gentle, tickling sensation. (PoA pg 2/7)

But dumbledore was dead...he couldnt perform a flame freezing charm...

and maybe snape was just hating dumbledore...a feeling of violent disgust or loathing ---the def. of revulsion...idk..
