Predictions

Here are my predictions for book 7

1 Professor McGonagle will be the new Headmaster (well duh)
2 Professor Slughorn will stay on as potions master and Slytherin Head of House
3 Professor Hagrid will be made Head of Gryffindor House

what are your theories.

I'm not sure that Hogwarts will be open next book, and who would they get for DADA teacher? And if it does stay open, I don't think the book will be centred around Hogwarts. Remember, Harry's going to find the Horcruxes.

i believe the book will start with harry trying to find the Horcruxes but he will be convinced to go back to hogwarts or the last horcruxe will be at hogwarts.

Hmmmmmmmm, good point. What about the sorting hat? Maybe it's a horcrux?

It already stated in the 6th book, that Harry, Ron, and Hermione would not be returning to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Therefore predictions must be made in a setting outside the Hogwarts grounds.

I also believe Harry, Ron, and Hermione may be going after Voldemorts final horcruxes. However, I think Harry will hunt down Snape before anything and kill him.

Alright here are my predictions so far. The Griffindor sword in dumbledore's is a horcruxe. that is why voldemort came back to see him when he was "trying to get a job teaching." I am not to sure about snape I still think that if dumbledore trusted him that he may still be good. I realize that he is an expert in Occlumency but is it possible that he is being control by voldemort? it just didn't seem right that he would still be loyal to voldemort after everything he did for the order.

i dont think snape was being possesd by voldemort snapes just pure evil snape seemed to really hate dumbledore at the end.what gets me though is why snape helped get rid of the horcruxes.
i reckon the fact that harry,ron n hermione have the 3 different cores in their wands will have sumat to do with defeatin voldy.(jk rowling said this on her website)

I think that one of the horcruxes are located inside of the sorting hat.
I think it could be either the raven claw or hufflepuff item as the horcrux that was put into the hat by Voldemort like the Bones child that has an important role in the books that we haven’t found out why yet. Just like Harry, only a true person from that house could put or pull objects from 1 of the 4 founders into the hat- Harry again the sword of Gryfindor. Bones could have been under the imperious curse (or another student) just to place the horcrux into the hat so that 1 part of the soul is safe from Dumbldor that he would not be able to remove it being from another house. Voldemort had taught the then “Moody” how to trick a very powerful magical item – the Goblet of Fire- and knows how to trick the powerful hat (which is 1 of 2 objects Dumbldor knows to be from Gryfindor).
The horcrux in the hat would complete many circles- Harry’s first use of magic in school, Tom’s first sign of being in Slyth. Tom’s first knowing he is from Salizar. And others….

The horcrux can not be the hat since Dumbldor would know that it was a horcrux since he spent time with the hat- but the hat being a magical object and being owned by Godrick Gryfindor could hold horcruxes and other items that Harry or other students could still remove.
