| No, the last horcrux is his award for special services to the school, in CoS. It fits Dumbledore's description that Riddile liked "to collect trophies, and he prefered objects with a powerful magical history. His pride, his belief in his own superiorty, his determination to carve for himself a startling place in magical history; these things sugest to me that Voldemort would have chosen his horcruxes with some care, favoring objects worthy of honor." It is a "trophy" worthy of enough honor to be held in the trophy room. It is a part Hogwarts history, and it makes him superior to even his own parents, who had no such awards or trophies. Finally, it carved him a place in history during a dark time at Hogwarts. |

| Maybe I wasn't reading closely enough, I thought that the HPB book firmly established that Nagini *was* a horcrux. My question...If two horcrux are Slytherin's relics and one is a Hufflepuff relic, would it make sense that there might be a Ravenclaw or Griffindor artifact? Riddle's trophy...stroke of genius. | i think one of the horcruxes would be a Ravenclaw artifact rather than Gryffindor, seeing as how in all the situations, slytherins and gryffindors are like natural born enemies or sumthing. for example: Snape and James, Lupin and Sirius Snape and Harry Draco and the "Golden Trio" Harry and Lucius Malfoy get my point? so i think that them being enemies would probly date back to Salazaar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor. so i doubt a gryffindor relic would be on of Voldemort's Horcruxes. |

| "When did voldy creat the last horcrux? Was it before or after he killed Lily and James?" Certainly some of them were created before, or the back-firing curse would have killed Voldemort. Some of them could have been created after his return in the fourth book, but I doubt it. He would have wanted to finish the job. |
