I saw someone on these boards say they thought Harry was a Horcrux. While I was reading I thought that also. Do you think the green light in the scene where Voldemort tries to kill Harry is the spell to make Harry a Horcrux? If this is a plausible theory then, in the end Harry must die! Do you think JK would do that to us? We've suffered so much already. I can't decide if I think Harry is or isn't a Horcrux. If he is Voldemort wouldn't want him dead now would he? How does the soul get out of a Horcruz? On another topic JK said she was going to take a year break to be with Mackenzie, then she'd finish book 7. So what, we're looking at a minimum of 13 months to 2 years? Although she also said in the same interview that book 7 was written but she had to finish it up.

If Harry is a Hrocruxes then it would be impossible for him to defeat Voldemort. He would have to kill himself first then kill Voldemort. Unless there is a way to remove the piece of soul from his body first, then destroying it. This is assuming that he is a Horocruxes.

Very good points indeed. I especially liked the one about the "deadly cures", I'm sure you meant the deadly curses. But, I do agree with these replies! I was re-reading book 6 and saw where the Avada thing does cast a green light! Plus, as one of you said Voldemort was reduced to a "half life" or what ever it calls it and I do agree that he wouldn't have been able to conduct the spell to make Harry a Horcrux! So, any guesses as to what the remaining Horcruxes are?

I think Harry is a Horcrux. He can be because he doesn't have to kill himself and then Voldemort. He can destroy all the other horcruxes along with Voldemort first and then do himself in. Nor would Voldemort mind killing Harry because he's got more than one Horcrux. And Voldemort would be willing to sacrifice a piece of his soul in order to kill the only person on the face of the planet capable of killing him. Not to mention that to Voldemort's way of thinking nothing is worse than death which, to him, means that Harry cannot destroy him. Moreover it would be just J.K.s style to kill Harry off at the very book seven. It would fit somehow. And Harry would get to meet his Mom and Dad, and see Sirius and see DD again. I honestly do not see Harry living on after book seven. In addition to all that this would explain Harry's ability to speak Parseltounge. It would also explain why he has the ability to see into Voldemort's heart and mind when he's asleep and Voldemort isn't doing occlumency against him. I must admit that I haven't felt this sad in a long time. ![]()

Drizzt: Cheer up! Harry cannot be a Horcrux because he has a soul. Voldemort can only deposit his soul scraps in things that do not have a soul. That's the reason that Voldemort could only live outside of Quirrell's head like growth. He could not inhabit Quirrell's body because Quirrell had a soul. Do you feel better now? (grin)

Thanks Zonko, but Voldemort, even if only for a few seconds, inhabited Harry's body in the MoM. And besides, we're only talking about a piece of Voldemort's soul, not the actual wizard. I just see no reason to think that Harry isn't a dead duck I'm so sorry to say. Right now I don't like J.K. Rowling very much.
