harry is a horcrux!!!!!!!!!!!! all of you think of theprophecy and stuff as absolute truth they probably arent completely true. the prophecy is only fufilled if harry thinks it is true. harry is a used horcrux. think back to the end of book 4 when they use harrys blood to revive voldemort
who came up with the idea that harry has to die to be a horcrux??? dont even say the prophecy either dumbledore said the prophecy could be wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

The 'Harry is a Horcrux' theory has a gaping hole in it.

If voldermort made Harry a Horcrux, why would he immediately tried to kill him? Why would voldermort constantly be trying to destroy a seventh of his soul?

My thought is that there is no seventh. I thinketh that voldermort wants to use Harry's death to make the last one. (note Dumbledore's statement "He began saving the making of Horcruxs for particularly notable killings"

In book four mad Eye shows the killing curse in front of the class and harry decribed it as a bright green flash.

We should also remember that while Harry is passing out from the dementors in book three we see the whole death sequence. We hear James "Lily! He's here!" to Lily pleading for harry's life...

So re-read it. See if you find any funky Horcrux making spells in there- cause I didn't see any.

I was just wondering if the reason Voldemort was reduced to a half life could be because he split his soul into too many pieces? The night he killed Lily and James, maybe Harry did see the green light from the Avada Kadavra curse killing Lily but then when Voldemort tried to make Harry a Horcrux, his soul couldn't take anymore splitting and that's why he was reduced to a half life?

Just a thought!!!!

No I don't think Harry is a Horcrux, because then he would probably have much greater powers.

I've seen this Harry-is-a-Horcrux theory is getting really popular isn't it?Well...intriguing maybe , but I don't think so.You see , Voldie heard about the profecy and went to the Potters' house to kill him(according to the profecy Harry is a real threat 4 him, right) ?Think it's quite clear in all books Voldie did want to kill Harry (and still does )and he tried to .Otherwise , if he hadn't tried the Avada Kadavra against Harry ,the curse wouldn't have turned back and killed him.So , why would he make a Horcrux only to destroy it right aftrewards ?I thougt Voldie is a clever guy...Any convincing?

got agree with Mrs Black on this one why would old tommy ridlle want to destroy on 7th of his soul? doesnt make sense to me and im sure a man as astute as voldie is would think the same.

I just had an idea of what another horcrux could possibly be.... Dumbledore said that Voldemort would have wanted to try to get something of Gryffindor's as well as the other founders, right? Well, there was something besides the sword that had belonged to Godric Gryfindor.... The Sorting Hat! It was Godric Gryffindor's before it became the Sorting Hat, right? I know it's far fetched, and people will probably laugh, but, it's still a small possiblility.....
