Yep. I'm on my second too. Taking it a bit slower this time. Though I'm trying to allow the majesty just wash over me, gotta admit that I keep feeling the analytical eye focusing in over my shoulder. Have to shake my head and knock it out of the way; this reading's meant to be about me and the story... I'm losing, I think. i'm with you fenrirbound. i'm another one of those people who likes knowing a story before I read it/watch it. It helps me relax if I know what's gona happen and then I can just focus on the unfolding 'whats', 'hows' and, possibly,if you're lucky, the 'whys'.

a read count eh? Lets got through all the books, eh? SS: I lost track at 12 times, and that was years ago. 25 is probably about right... CoS: 6-8 PoA: 6-8 OOtP: 3. (To tell the truth, I really didn't like OOtP too much. Never did. I was worried that JK had lost her touch. I read the book when I got it, once over the next summer, and two days before the release of HBP. It's just not very... entertaining. It has too much flat, dry plot.) HBP: 3 (Will be more soon!) I freaking love HBP. Granted I was a H/Hr sort of fellow, but I can't argue with HBP. It's excellent. There's a constant humor about it... I loved the bezoars section... 'Birthday suprises' was the most excellent chapter ever. In history. To be honest, I was scared after OOtP that she would produce steadily worse books. Many an author has traveled this route- They publish one great book, but there next is good, the next so-so, the next crummy... But JK has risen above the pathetic decline that marked the last three star-wars movies. Instead of being a steaming pile of suck, HBP was easily her greatest. I love it. But why am I talking Screw the rest of this post, I have a book to read! Take 4!

I'm starting it for the third time, I'm totally in love with this book, it think that it is the best so far... simply brilliant. And I agree with awigo50... that part about the bezoar... "just shove a bezoar down their throats", that was genious.
