Ok, I am new in this group. So I put up the spoiler alert. So, Is Snape good or evil? I want to believe that however much we hate him.......he was following Dumbledore's orders. His infiltration into the Death Eaters is very important. And Dumbledore would have sacrificed for the cause of killing Voldie. Dumbledore was willling to sacrifice himself to get the Horcrux.....why wouldn't he sacrifice himself in another way as well?? I'm just not sure about the fact that Dumbledore did not confide in anyone about Snape. Not even Harry. He should have explained to Harry before they left exactly why he trusts Snape. Even though I knew the truth when Harry could move, I was still praying I was wrong until Harry ended up under the Astronomy tower. I mean Harry even told McGonagall that Dumbledore did not tell him to stop following his orders if he died. Is Snape still on the good side?

We really hope that Snape is not a bad guy, but its hard to imagine a scenario where he is not. Still, something about that last scene between them did not seem right. We're wondering if Dumbledore ordered Snape to kill him, Dumbledore is so accomplished at Legilimens and so is Snape, that its possible that they were able to speak or at least get the idea across. We were wondering whether Dumbledore was pleading with Snape to kill him and thus follow orders, rather than begging for his life. We find it hard to believe that in all that time Dumbledore couldn't have figured a way out, even weakened and without his wand. Suddenly became fans of Snape in this book, so heres hoping he's not evil.

In an interview with JK on Mugglenet, she made a few statements that made me think that Snape is on the dark side. One statement was something to the effect of Dumbledor was human and humans sometimes trust when they shouldn't . So, I feel that Snape is bad!

I think Snape is good. But..wait wait don't curse me yet! He's still a LYING ROTTEN GREASY SCUMBAG that deserves to die a horrible death, even if he is good. I think that he and Dumbledore planned it all.
