I know i may sound like i'm in denial but i don't think that dumbledore is really dead. i think that he staged it. i mean come on ppl do u think snape has the power to take him out?

Aloha - you do sound like you're in denial. Dumb. is dead as dead can be. No, I really don't like to think about it either. Maybe he did cook up a sceme with Snape, but the scheme was for Snape to kill him. Maybe its the only way he can go into the dark beyond and retrieve Sirius! That's a good one

maybe they did have a deal but it doesnt matter cuz snape will be dead soon the first person to find snape alone who was on dumby side is gonna kill him and he would deserve it he killed dumby i dont care if dumby asked him to honestly i think the only reaso he did it was cuz of the unbreakable vow if he didnt do it he would have died and he made that vow b4 dumby pleaded wit him i just dont think dumby wanted to die snape is a death eater and he is a full fledged one idk why everyone is so quick to defend him wat has he done to earn our trust he sold harrys parents to voldy he made harrys life heck he was mean to all the good characters i am not having a hard time believing he is dead sorry but no

When I read the book my first impression was that Snape was evil, then after reading the fight scene I was thinking maybe he's not, then I read JK's interview on Mugglenet and I am more certain that Snape is evil! She says some stuff like Dumbledor is human and humans trust when they shouldn't and stuff like that.

So in the end I think that Snape is on the dark side and Dumbledor is dead for good (although I am Greatly saddened). JK has also said that you can't come back from the dead. I say this assuming that Dumbledor really did die when Snape cursed him. If he didn't die why would his portrait appear in his office? Why would his spell freezing Harry end at that moment, Why would Fawkes sing?

There's another question to. If as Harry said in the book, the spell ended because the caster had died then wouldn't his spell of protection at the Dursley's end to?

Snape is the trickiest character to predict because of his strength in occolemcy or however it's spelled. Dumbledore could have tried to read his mind and been shut out and he really has been on the side of Voldemort. On the other hand, he could be lying to Voldemort.
