Well, I think JKR killed of Dumbldore after the guy who was supposed to play him died and I mean it makes harry matuer faster and will bring the relationship between Harry, Ron, and Hermione closer. OMG, I cant belive Harry had to dump Ginny. I mean I always knew they had something but NEVER did I think he would dump her...

I agree that the more I think about it, Dumby isn't dead. Snape really does dislike Harry, but he and Dumby had anticipated this possiblility and had worked out different senarios to effect the out come. At least if I were writing it, I would handle it that way.

well we should just wait for the book then all theorys will be proven or proven wrong

I am pretty sure that he is dead. But I have a hard time thinking how Harry is going to be able to complete this on his own. Especially since, I think, Dumbledore had a lot of information that he still had not shared with Harry. I wonder if Dumbledore will have left anything for Harry, say some memories.

The more I think about it, the more I'm sure he's dead as well, karma. I like the idea that maybe he left something behind for Harry that can still guide him, like memories or a diary or something. Or I think there can be a way that he can still be there for Harry when the time comes for him to kill Voldemort...I'm thinking of the end of Goblet of Fire when all of the people V killed came out of the wand and gave Harry encouragement and direction...maybe something like that will take place in a moment when Harry really needs him. The other thought I had is that maybe Fawkes will eventually end up with Harry. It wouldn't be the same as having Dumbledore back, but it would be something that Harry could hold on to when he needs to feel strong. I think D is really dead, but I don't think that has to mean we've seen the last of him.

Yes he PLEADED (not begged) but I think it was because he wanted Snape to think about what he was doing, not becasue he wanted to save his life or else why would he have risked his own life so many times?

i think that JKR killed dumbledore for a reason. i was watching a biography on her the other night and she said that everything she wrote she thought over many times. She also said that she had finished writing the last chapter of the 7th book!!!! She said that she is dreading the day that she has to rewrite the chapter with a very painful death. Who do u think she kills off? would it be harry or no? i think that it isnt going to be harry and that he is going to live because it would be too typical to kill him off.

She CANT kill Harry off or it would be the end of the Wizarding World!! Also, I think that Dumbledore IS dead, because otherwise it would be too difficult for Voldemort to fight and possibly win. There will probably be something left behind - a picture, and memory - or something so that Harry can either get help or information from.
