It's a good point that Voldie killed Regulus himself; why would he bother chasing down some little deserter unless he was actually a threat? Also, he wouldn't want to risk anyone else finding out about the Horc-thingys. RAB is Regulus Black.

That's a really good point peeves (it was worth repeating :P ). The note wouldn't have been in the locket if Voldy had found out and read it would it?? Yep I reckon Voldy doesn't know it's gone, Regulus or who ever took the Horcrux, ran off and was either gunned down by DeathEaters (if it was Regulus) or has it hidden somewhere.

For all we know it could stand for 'Right! Aboard Boat' or 'Rightio. Abroad [to] Brasil!' or even 'Read Another Book!!?' to which I say "never!"

well we dont know if it is someones innitials or if it is a message wateve it means we can only guess that this person knows as much or more then dumby did/does

i think that if dumbldore is truly dead
(which i cart help but think that thier was somthing more going on)
then im quite sure that it is meant that harry is now ready to face his destiny alone and show every one that there IS somthing about him, after all how many times has a death eater or someone similar say that harry has no extraordinary powers and that i was just luck that harry lived to tell the tale when voldermort attempted to kill him.

wat i also wonder aboout is who is going to get all dumbledores stuff cos lets face it hes got some pretty cool stuff, iam sure that some of it would come in handy on the road to all lord voldermorts hucruxs(SP?) that harry is soon to take!

i agree that serious blacks brother could be to whom the initals belong, although it could be quite possible that the 3 letters each stand for a different person, did dumbledoere not say that once harry and himself had retrived the fake necklace that i was clear to him (dumbly) that you needed to at least 2 people to get it from the basin, therefore one R.A.B. would not of been sucsessful!!!!!!!

i cart see dumbldore fakeing his own death i think it would be increadably cruel to let harry falsely think that he has lost yet another very important figure in hes life.

telling anybody who would listen that snape and malfoy were ploting, it also became obvious to me that snape and malfoy were after dumbledore as soon as Pro.slughon had said that the poisoned mead was a birthday or christmas present for dumbledore, although that kinda gives me the idea that snap had no idea that malfoy had pland it.??????????????????????????????????????????
perhaps snap was really working for dumbledore untill he took the unbreakable vow with malfoys mum, which perhaps is why he killed dumbleodre mabye if he broke the vow ( which was that if malfoy did not kill dunbly then snape had to do it for him ) mabye snape would die if he had he not forfilled the vow.

If Dumbledore could turn into a phoenix, it does not mean that he would also have the real properties of a phoenix. He could not rise from the ashes.

I hate that Dumbledore is dead, but he knew it was a possibility. And I feel that he had told Snape that if his (Dumbly) death was necessary than Snape had orders to carry it out.

Dumbledore was accomplished enough to have known if Snape were still a true DeathEater. The only reason D. did not teach Harry in Book 5 was so that Vold. did not learn how close Harry and D were.

Dumbledore was not "pleading" on top of the tower. There was one word verbal and probably a whole conversation (Occlemency) that we were not privilidged to.

I am hoping that in the next book Harry quickly finds out why D trusted Snape.

The only mysterious death that JK has written was Pettigrews. I don't think that we will open book 7 to find that book 6 was all a dream (showing my age referring to Dallas). That is not her style. If such soap opera tactics were, I think that Sirius would have appeared by now.

And Snape not wanting to be called a coward.......He has been risking his life for how long?? Being a double agent in the Death Eaters.....And killing D (I want to believe on D's orders) has put him in even more danger on both sides of the tracks. Snape is no coward.

Enough guess work for now. I say we all send emails demanding the next book!!! LOL

I've always thought that Dumb had to be the one to die. I hate that characters, in any story, are brought back to life (though the James and Lily thingo was done with style!!) It's just the Dumb. character; his un-Dumbyness manner, in the book, that makes me sus. as to whether it really is him dead or not. Added to this, as much as I dislike Snape (I'm only human!), I CAN'T believe that Dumb, the wisest and best wizard, could be wrong about him!! NAAA!!! They're in on this together.

Why the look of disgust from Snape as he killed Dumb??? It can't have really been Dumb. He could never have been that weak and pitiful in the face of death. Not our Dumb. If that really was him getting shusumkempd, what an waful death for an amazing bloke. Nooo I can't believe that Jo would dothat to our Father; our patriarch; our leader!!! Such degradation!!??? Naaa!! Dumb deserves a better death than that and we deserve a much better death for our Dumb
