This Guy Has The 6th Book Already

Dude, if this is legit, then I am going to give you so much credit (have to admit, I was in the Van Helsing/Cynical camp until I read that last post) for posting the first line here. Course, if JK's lawyers catch onto it, they're going to give you something more like a huge lawsuit...Ah well, that's your lookout. Fantastic work though, I've been wondering about that first line and when it was going to be revealed for bloody ages. Didn't see it coming from this source, but even so...

Adium: I've believed you from the start, as you know. Gotta say, you've got me worried now. I mean, you weren't at fault when you bought the book. You were probably pushing the limits of 'trouble' when you posted the pic of you and the book but posting the first sentence!!! I think the ' naughty borometer' is screaming about now. We all share your enthusiasm but ... be careful. Thankfully you bought the book legitimately therefore you could... maybe.. be allowed to do what you like it with (eg. post a pic of it and even... maybe?!... quote a sentence from it. BUT you did know that this was naughty; it shouldn't have been out yet, so that could show intent... Mate, be careful!! You could be in serious rouble here. I'd shut up from now on if I were you!

She hasn't told the world anything really except how excited they are, which is fair enough. After all, you have kept us waiting an inordinate amount of time for this one. Adium bought the book from a book store. She didn't steal it. (Unlike all the others!) She's posted her excitement at her AMAZING luck! I don't know if I would have done the same but I can understand hwer reastion. Can't you??

Don't you think it's a bit unreasonable to suggest that Adium should have bought HBP (!!!) and left it untouched/ unopened beside her bed for a week?? Could you? I certainly couldn't. I'd have been sitting outside the book store reading, reading as I drove home, reading as I cooked and put my kid to bed and hitting myself in the face if my eyes dared to blink let alone sleep. ie. I would have done what I intend to do in 2 days time and I would have done EXACTLY what Adium did in her situation.

I'm a southern hemisphereer, I'll be reading HBP at least 15 hours ahead of you. Do you begrudge me that?

Why can't you be happy for Adium's and my good fortune? In the end, it's all just about the love of Harry!!!

So who got in contact with you to tell you take the book back? Was it the local police or just a letter from the publisher's goons?? There aren't gonna be any consequences are there? I mean you did nothing wrong really.

Did they trust you to take HBP back to the book store yourself or did they send a SWAT team??
