Woohoo! I Have Book 6 Now!

I can't believe I got the book almost two weeks before it was released. I went into the store and saw it on the shelf.., thought I understood the release date as a mistake but saw it and had to get it. It didn't hit me until they traced my credit card and found out my information and now they want me to return it. They are going to basically pay me for them to hold the book until the 16th too. I think I will finish reading it first though..., return it on the 15th get my money and pick up the book the next day....,

HAHAHA too all of you that have to wait!!!

Don't believe me check this out. Took pictures of all the little crap in the book plus the entire first chapter..., its readable too..., (just the first and last chapters) haha..., you can all hate me too, I got the book and I don't care!

apparently I can't even have pictures of the cover posted yet and am getting quizzed on where I got the book from various people. I removed the pictures but the post remains. And for those that are too scared to click the link, I obtained the book from a PX on a US installation in South Korea. They don't care about holding things like this in there store room. They get it they display it. They get paid the same and its just US soldier that are glad to get the book or don't know better. I just got lucky.

Adium: I'm totally with you!!! If I saw a copy of HBP out there... id grab it with both hands and never let go!! Stuff the consequences!! After all, this is the latest.. UNREAD Harry we're talking about here!!! It's not like you broke in and stole anything. The bookshop's stuff-up is your rewRD. gO FOR IT! I think it's brillant!! You haven't ruined anything for me or anyone else as far as I can see. If I choose to go and read exterts from a HBp, it's not gonna stop me wanting to buy and own a copy myself. If Jo's got a problem with that then maybe she's become too greedy after all.. I mean, 12 million for Comic Relief was BRILLANT Jo! But the GoF movie cost 350 million to make!!! That's THE MOST expensive movie EVER made!!! You gotta wonder at the ethics of that. She and her lawyers, have gotta bit of a cheek to be preaching I reckon.

well i cant say im not upset that its not me but i wouldnt have done any different i would have read the whole thing and then returned it was it really good dont tell me wat happened jut tell me if it was good i can wait a few more days

I got almost litteraly attacked by people trying to get the book back. The lawyers for JKR do not fool around, they were ready to come after the people that sold me the book unless they got it back. I only got a $50 gift card and the amount of the book refunded, and then on the 16th I can pick up the book for free..., but the biggest payment was them to stop calling me and coming to my work, flashing badges, and harrassing my boss (I'm military so them doing that here is common for something like this). I read not quite half of it, enough to get me into wanting to read more really soon, but now I don't have the book. I am in South Korea though and that is a 9 hour time difference to those of you in England, 14 hours for New York, and 17 hours for those of you in LA. Plus the store is holding my book espically for me, for free so I will get it back legally before any of you again..., maybe I can finish it before the stores open there and you can get yours. hehe.

Adium: I totally feel for you!! You did nothing wrong. You shared your excitement with us all on this site- as any true HPer would!! I feel your pain at having to give the lil' treasure back- Honest!! I think I'd leave my dignity at the door as I screamed and kicked thm off MY HBP!! You paid for it. You didn't steal it. You didn't defy some secrecy or security contract. Man. I reckon I'd be looking into suing the book store for 'cruel and unusual personal hardship at having to give the book back and delaying your reading for 5 DAYS Bloody inhuman to toy with your emotions like that!!

WOW!!!! Am I tempted to ask you questions about the book........ I won't... Can't believe I'm saying this but.... Naaaaaaa... I'll wait and enjoy it in its entireity. Just as you should have been allowed to do with your legitimate purchase!!!!!
