HEDWIG & TEDDY - settle!!!!!!!!

1. debating styles can differ depending on who one's opponent is. I was just wanting to make sure that Psyduck knew 'who' Hedwig is.
While we're on this point - teddy - are you aware that not everyone here has english as their first language? perhaps if we all had to write in german for a week - hmmm.

(take a breath every now and then before declaring other's literacy standards to be below par.) We had a good chat on the weekend. let's see how we can learn from it.

2. Teddy - *grin* - bless you. I think that's probably the best compliment I'm able to get from you -
Historical-observant-arguements-you-can't-disagree-with-without-sounding-heartless-Ginigo: check!

Although you 'did' give me an extra 'i' in my name. If it isn't going to cost me any more - I'll take it...

3. to everyone else - JOIN DA!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem to be especially hard on Teddy, here, and I think unfairly so. The occasional youthful indiscretion can be found on this site originating in every language, and Teddy is certainly no more guilty than any of the others, maybe less so than Hedwig. Being twelve and a half is not an excuse, plain and simple.

If you are going to scold the younguns, Gingo, scold them all.

grin - ok - point taken.

anyhoo... on the whole - I thought it was pretty balanced - I did 'ask' both of them to settle.

and then got sidetracked with Teddy who I know writes with sarcasm and tongue in cheek. We had some pretty good bantering on the weekend also.

FYI, Teddy and I did have a great discussion on the weekend and one of the things we spoke about was 'literacy standards of pro-DA - anti-TIRADE folk'.

(sigh.) Could you at least acknowledge that I CLAIM that this is not true? (1) It’s not that I am sad about the end of the series, and (2) I am not bitter that it didn’t go My way.
Take a giant step outside your mind. That was YOUR feeling, not mine.

I’m bitter because it didn’t go in ANY way that made any sense.
I didn’t read much fan fiction before, but I’ve now seen a few that are actually better than JKR’s.

Pinning your feelings on me is one thing, but to pretend that you can’t hear me at all is really annoying.

Ok, let’s try this:

Imagine that you spend several blissfully happy years with a guy that you believe is a real prince. Fill in all of your most cherished hopes and dreams here.

Then, one day, you discover that Prince Charming has had another wife & kids all along, a series of girlfriends on the side, hatched a scheme that robbed your parents blind, has been playing around with your finances so that your credit is ruined forever, and left you infected with an incurable disease.

He has changed the past. As it turns out, what you thought was happening never really happened. You can’t look back and say it was the best time of your life any more.

The feather duster neither played the card nor used it.

And speaking of G.O.I., when is everyone going to get over that creepy Snape-Lily story?
Is your siggy going to stay that way forever?

ok psy im am anything but bitter i am completely fine with how it ended and as for that analigy im a straight guy so yea i wouldnt be with a guy but i get what your saying but i understand ur upset and it didnt make sense in ur opinion but that doesnt change the past books if u watched a tv series and loved it until the end because the finale or the last season wasnt good odds are ur still gonna love the series and i wont read the fan fiction because thats why i have the whole HP series so if i want to read abvout harry potter i can read them and when i said ur bitter thats just how it comes across as bitterness but ill believe but complaining wont change anything except either discourage JKR so much that she wont write again or e make her want to redeem herself but i think that the majority of people who read DH liked it so i dont think shell feel the need to redeem herself but by saying u want more she will be encouraged to write again and please ellaborate o why the ending makes no sense it worked for me other than the fact that the time frame was tooo short it should have taken them atleast a whole year
