Headless: A Metamorphmagus is rare Tonks tells us in Book 5. However, she did say that if you aren't born with these qualities, you have to learn the hard way. I don't think Harry is a morph now although I think he will learn to be. Even as a wizard, Harry is extraordinary.

so then how do u explain the hair thing? but i ges the hair thing could relate to the ending-up-on-the-roof-without-trying-or-knowing-how-he-did-it story. ya know, like its one of those spells or w/e that doesnt take a wand to do? but how come he didnt get a notice for it?

Well the question that is not answerd is when do you find if you are or are not? It well would be a cool thing that heppend when you a near coming of age, then it would fit, The hair thing is perplexing, I am not sure what magic makes har grow or for that matter what make a wommen BLOW UP, it might just be accidental magic

Nah, Harry's not a metamorphimagus (sp?). No way. Nuh-uh. If you wanna use the hair growing back incident as evidence for that theory how about the idea that Harry can fly, because (as also evidenced in the first book) he ended up on the roof of the school? Or the idea that he can fill people with helium gas just by looking at them (see Aunt Marge). Nah, the hair growing back thing was just an accident (and quite a handy one, too. I mean, how many of us have had our hair cut by our parents when we're going to school and come out looking like we've attended a monastary for the weekend?). That said, I agree with Suprime Witch that we're going to run into another meta...(oh, sod it, you know what I mean) at some point. In fact, it's probably someone we've already met. I was just thinking about it and wondered if it could actually be Snape, and maybe that was how he was getting information about V. for the Order (after all, if he's been found out as double agent, V. isn't likely to just welcome him back with open arms). It makes some sense and the fact that Snape's an accomplished Legilimens would help him with hiding his true identity. And, even though I am dubious about this theory, I find it a lot more plausible than the idea that Snape's a vampire. That's just too hard for me to accept.
