Figuring out Siverus Snape's actions, we gotta add to the mix the fact that James bullied and teased him. Somewhere in the books, the relationship between Siverus and James (or is it Siverus and Sirius??) is compared to the Harry and Draco relationship. Therefore, we gotta assume that there were lots and lots of little, awful, niggly, baiting and teasing each other stuff that add up to all this ill will. But come on!! It's been a generation since James was at school!! School boys' pranks have to come with an expiry date of animosity!!??

Naaaaa! I'm with you. There was something bigger and more definate. The kinda thing that sticks in your throat and you'll NEVER forget and forgive it, had to happen. Maybe Snape loved Lily??? Naaa I don't believe it either! What then?????

Maybe Snape was just never popular or good looking and hated everyone who was. Could it be that simple?? Something tells me that, with our Jo, nothing is ever simple

[b][i][size=7] I do not now nor will I ever believe that sirius is dead. It seems to me that he is just in the land of the dead. Luna said her mother was behind the veil but that was because she was already dead, but seing as sirius was not dead b4 he fell behind the veil i believe that he will return in either the half blood prince or the book after that. Futhermore if you read the book carefully it says that when sirius was hit it took him ages to fall, and if u remember in the prisoner of azkaban book and movie when the dementors caused Harry to fall of his broom dumledore did some magic which caused harry to fall slower and i believe he did the same thing in the case of sirius plus if JK really wanted to kill sirius she could have just had bella lestarnge hit him with the avada kedavra curse. i believe sirius is just hiding out so that Voldermort will not be able to use him against harry again. Either that or he is pulling a Makaveli.

Scorppa: I think Bellatrix Lestrange did kill Sirius with an Avdara curse. His smile and the slow fall were part of the dramatics, I reckon. The Crucitus wracks 'em with pain and the Imperius curse makes 'em go all blissed-out-oogly-googleys but the Kadvara just kills. Which was what happened to Sirius

When Luna was talking about how the dead are waiting/ talking/exsisting, just beyond the veil, she's talking about her Mum just as much as Sirius - ie. her Mum and Sirius ARE DEAD but they will meet them again 'cause death's like that

@m@nd@: Snape's ALWAYS beeen alone I reckon. Look at his childhood memories, they're awful. No-one can go through that and the schoolyard taunts, and come out a fully, relationship ready, social being. Do you know what I mean?? Therefore, I don't think that Snape has the wherewithalls to be a friend let alone love someone. So, as much as our LIly seems to have been a bit of a sleaze - what with carrying on with Lupin 'n all!! - I don't reckon she ever stooped to Snape.

Shipping Report: Was his 'love scorned' enough to turn our Snape completely 'BAD" or, are you right @m@nd@, was there another ???

scorppa:i believe he is dead but somehow the dead find them selves back with the living for example ghosts.now lets say right that behind the veil is like an undrworld a place for the dead right there might be a place where the two (lets call them releams) realeams intersect where they can go from the releam of he living to the releam of the dead or viceversa. you catch what i'm gettiing to?now sirius does not have to be dead he could have just gone into the dead and could come back not in a human form.

@m@nd@: So the real life, actual book was there in the book shop with you!!??? WOW! I've seen the mock ups but I didn't realise the actual HBP book's were anywhere near shops! Weren't you tempted.. you know... to grab it...? Mate, I've never stolen ... well not since I was young... but I'd be sorely tempted by HBP!!!
