Who Will Die?

I have been hearing all sort of things on who will die. But really who will die?I think we will have to read the book for that .J.K. said it would be a friend but i don't want ron or hermoine to die because i want them both to end up together. so for now my theories are:-
1. hagrid
2. luna
3. neville

if you think otherwise well............... we don't know. we will just have to find out the long way...... read the book

If on of Harry's friends are going to buy the farm, I vote for Percy Weasley. It better not be Hedwig the owl.

i have heard tons of rumors and i dont believe non of them i dont think i could bear it if another friend died CHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! would be nice though or macmillan from the second book for saying harry was slytherins hier becouse he was parsletounge.

Can I add my own opinion on who will die in the next book? I think it is Dumbledore. I have read all 5 books in succession (the second time I have read them all), and there seems to be too much discussion about "what would we do if Dumbledore--the only one He ever feared--weren't around to help. I just think it would allow Dumbledore a fantastic death scene in 7 and opening the way for a HP/V showdown in the last book.
Dumbledore is also a "friend" of Harry's. Just my opinion.

I don't even want to take a guess at who dies in 6. I'm still sad about the fact J.K. revealed Harry will not make it past 7. The prophecy given to Harry in 5 was that neither H/V can survive together, but I think Dumbledore didn't give Harry the whole truth. I think H/V are too connected and in order for V to die H must die and being the hero Harry is he will die in order to save the life he so deary loves and all of his friends. Also you really shouldn't hate Cho I mean really Harry and Ginny don't so why kill someone who could be resourceful in the fight!!!

Iscarbro- I totally agree with you. Dumbledore has to die I reckon; that whole 'the community is leaning on Dumbledore so much that he's really standing in their wayand they have to learn to fight for themselves'thing is strong. With him gone the whole magical community can trust themselves by fighting their own battles and think for themselves. (I think you put it much better than I just did).

As much as I like Dumbledore, he has become a bit of a worry. He's supposed to love Harry, his prime objective is meant to be to keep Harry alive, he knows (and has known all along) that Harry must kill or be killed by Voldemort and yet in the duel and all the acompanying chit chat at the end of OotP, it seemed that he didn't choose to kill Voldemort; he was above it somehow!? What's with that?!

Maybe when he dies, Dumbledores powers/force will pass to Harry a little bit like Voldemorts' powers did and a lot like what's-his-name/Alec Guiness's character in Star Wars.

I'm sorry but Dumbledore must die.
