i believe that harry just feels sorry for luna. it seems like it at the end of number 5. post what you think please.

I think Harry misjudged Luna. He thought she was flakey like Trelawny, the Divination Professor. But he discovered that they had two things in common.
They both saw the carriage horses and they both lost their mothers when
they were young. I think Luna surprises him because she seems to accept
injustice and work around it. Harry gets angry about injustice and he fights
it.

thats why they wont go out luna accepts misfortune harry dose something about it if you ask me i think luna and nevile would make a good couple

Harry needs someone who can challenge him maybe even compete with him in some ways. Luna is not that type of character. I think Harry would feel too protective of Luna and wouldn't respect her enough to fall for her. Don't get me wrong I think he does have respect for her, just not enough to start a romance with her.

And as for her and Neville, well I agree with what JKR herself said, "Neville would be a bit too alarmed by her more outlandish flights of fancy." I can definitely see her with someone like Collin Creevey though.

Harry and Luna might not make a permanent couple, but she has attracted one of his most powerful senses--curiosity. He does not understand why she has a greater tolerance for injustice, even though both of them have been treated badly by others. He may wonder if his need to save everybody is a gift or a failure.

I THINK THAT THERES A CHANCE B/C ITS PRETTY OBVIOUS THAT LUNA LIKES HARRY BUT DOSE HARRY LIKE LUNA WE KNOW HE IS COMFORTABLE ABOUT TELLING HER ABOUT SERIES SO THAT MIGHT SPARK SOMETHIN....... HMMMM LETS PONDER THAT............................... I LOVE THAT

*sigh* No offense, but don't we have a million threads on who's going to fall for who? As I've said a million times before though, if Harry goes for anyone, it'll be Ginny.
