thats true it could be Remus but the is still wormtail left but i highly doubt he is the HBP so what if it was like Ron or Fred or George man that would be interesting

that would make sense if it was Dumbledore because like you said he is the only one that he who must not be named ever feared but there is a rumor goin around that the HBP is goin to be a new character

i hope it is someone that helps out harry and ron and hermione.... i do hope that it isnt a bad person... the first persn you suually think of would be dumbledore but then when you think more i usually think of hagrid.. cause he is a half blood.. giant and wizard... not dobby though.. he is a houseelf...

Logically it can only be a new character as we all know the inklings behind most of the existing characters, except for the minor players of course and unless Neville has a deep unlying secret that has yet to be released. So if its not a new character it only leaves good ol neville Longbottom as it was he who was included in the prophecy after all.

Personally, this question has me clueless, I have no idea. I have a hunch that its some one we haven't met yet, but there's the faintest of possibilities that it could be Hagrid, but I don't think so.
Okay, this probably sounds dumb, but this is why I don't think its Hagrid.

Hagrid the "prince?" I dunno, but I think if hagrid would have any royalty, he'd be a KING! He's so huge, and the title prince just dosn't carry with that... *sigh* I'm not making any sense aren't I? There's absolutely nothing to back my claims, its just my personal feeling. The prince is going to be younger than Hagrid and others, that's my prediction. I know it dosn't make sense, but it's what I think.

I think it is easier to guess who it is if you eliminate the obvious.

It can't be anyone considered pure blooded -- so that leaves out the Weasleys as well as Dumbledor (unless he is half blood)
I also assume that it must be a wizard -- so that leaves out crookshanks

I agree with an earlier guess -- it is probly someone we have seen a glimpse of in an earlier book -- but was not a prominant character
(like when JKR said she was killing an important charactor in GoF and it turned out to be Cedrick -- I had not noticed him much before that book.)
