I want to know if you think that Snape is really a bad monkey or if he isn't.
I think that yes, Dumbledore id dead. But I'm also open to possibilites such as: Dumbledore could have directly told Snape to kill him if it was necessary, and that was what they had been arguing about; Snape had gone away from the Dark Lord and then rejoined in the fifth and sixth book because in the fourth book Voldemort says that one of his followers has left him forever; or that Snape has actually been with Voldy this whole time. So what do you think?

I think Snape had to do it because of the promise he made. I don't think he actually wanted to but to keep Voldemort from finding out who's side he's really on, he had to make that promise and then he ended up having to keep it.

Hmmm, that is a huge possibility, and although it is sad, we should keep it in mind.

Yeah, or there could be some crazy twist like it wasn't really Snape, but someone with a polyjuice potion

Maybe, he made another unbreakable vow to Dumbledore, saying that if necessary, he'll kill dumbledore so it'll look like he's still on Voldy's side...

I think we are just clinging to straws here (is that the expresion?).
Although it's a nice idea, I don't think that JKR would use polyjuice potion again.
She's already used it twice, and there has already been a death eater in disguise as a good guy.

But long, long ago, ever since I finished the 6th book for the first time, I have been sure of two things.

1. Dumbledore, even when facing death, does not beg. He is not afraid of it, he says so himself.
Therefore he would be begging for Snape to kill him. To follow their plan through. He saw in Snapes mind the doubt about killing him and had to beg him to do the deed.

and

2. Dumbledore plan involving Snape killing him (if indeed there was a plan and I and many others aren't completely of the mark (which is quite likely, I'd say, knowing that JK has a habit of putting twists in the beloved books)) is setting Snape up just nicely to be murdered by Harry. Now although I'm not against this in any way, I would think that Dumbledore would want Snape to live on, if only to spy for the order.

So these conflict a bit, as do many other parts in this theory. The hatred on Snapes face, for instance
(thought this could be hatred for what he has to do).

That's true, and I think that if Snape were also truley evil, he would have killed Harry too since he had a billion chances!

I belive that Snape is good as well. I think that he had to protect Malfoy because of his promise. And I think that Dumbledore knew about it in some way. He believed that Malfoy is good and till the end was trying to persuade him back to the good side. Malfoy could not bring himself to kill Dumbledore and was in terror for his life and his family. Dumbledore trusted Snape, so I do. I think that Snape had the hardest time out of all the members of the Order. One he was a Death Eater before and he was not trusted, and he had always been unfriendly with Lupin, Sirius and James (not like they ever got along even at school). Second he was undercover as a follower of Voldemorts. I'm sure it was terrible for him to have to play both rolls. I think his true colors can be seen when he is around the students. How many times did he save Harry? He alerted the Order about the trip to the Ministry! He may not have liked Harry and picked on him in class but he always had the students best interest at heart. Look at Malfoy, Snape risked everything to make sure nothing happend to him. I think Snape has always been misunderstood, ever since he was a kid at Hogwarts. My two cents
