but how is that possible? did sirius have the other side with him when he died?......i don't think he did because he probably left it at the order but if he lft it there it would be possible that he uses it to communicate to the order

im sure well be seeing more of these mirrors,
and im sure that serious isnt dead, mabye he carnt come back from behind the veil or somthing.
i think this coz of 2 reasons:

-1st i swear that serious got hit with a RED stunning spell because if j.r wannted him dead why not just kill him with a spell we all know will kill you (avarda kadavra).

-2nd didnt luna lovegood say that there not really gone that there just behind the veil (i think luna knows more then shes letting on about death).

and maybe the mirrors will be usefull in some other way then just communciton?
because i have a feeling that harry will be leaving the dursleys to find out about the sercumstances(SP?sorry) of serious death and these misterious mirrors!!

very unsure!!!!!! and worried about serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i wish sirius would come back he was one of fav characters to read about
but it is unlikely isnt

Book Seven explains the mirror. well, not fully - but we get to see the mirror in use. I won't say anything further. But it is nice that some loose ends tidy themselves up.

Yes, book 7 does clear that up. Before I read book 7, I really didnt attach much significance to the mirrors, or what was left of them. After Sirius died I was hoping that Sirius could come back as a ghost or communicate w/ Harry by somehow appearing in the mirror. I dont know. I really empathized w/ Harry when he lost Sirius......

well again even though i read the book i thought that it wouldnt be used at all. or i even thought about Kreacher using the mirror. maybe finding it where sirius left it
