I'm pretty sure I found when Harry realizes about dead wizards making their voices heard in HBP. I'll try and find it.

I don't think JKR would do that to us. Some1 had to die if u havent noticed parental figures to harry tend to die for him and dumbledore is next in line... I wouldn't be suprised if Hagrid dies next book

One could only hope that one of those two will die. I don't thing jkr would get rid of two of the people that cause some of the best conflict in the story.

I found a really great story that someone is writing that shows harry and snape working together to find the horcruxes; it says that snape and dumbledore had an unbreakable vow...if anybody would like to read the bit of it i have, just send me your email address...it really does seem as if it could be true, bits of it anyway.

maybe dumbledore thought harry was relying on him to much. maybe for harry to do what was right, he had to learn not to have to depend on dumbldore. and the only way to do that was for dumbledore to not be there. and if voldemort thought he was dead then he could attack without anyone knowing and maybe kill off a few powerful deatheaters.
[/b]
I totally agree. I was thinking that just before I read your post.

I can't, and won't believe Dumbledore is dead. I refuse to believe Snape is loyal to Voldemort. There is something going on "behind the scenes" with the two. . .I thought of it yesterday, but I forgot.

Anyway, psyduck, if you still read this, I can't get over what you said about something being odd about Petunia. I have been thinking the same thing for a while! Somehow, though, I can't see her tied in with Dumbledore's death.

Wow, that was a long time ago.
Thanks for the humbling reminder.

Nope. The theory still doesn't work for me. The body was lying on the ground, for all to see. Someone picked it up. Someone prepared it for the funeral. Hagrid himself carried it.
Unless Hagrid was in on the conspiracy. Would you expect Hagrid to keep such a secret? And, if he knew Dumbledore was really alive somewhere, could he put on such a show as he did at the funeral? [/b]

Oh, wait-wait. I got it. It's about Petunia.
Whatever she's holding back, whatever surprises she has, the shock of Dumbledore's death will bring it out. [/b]
I've long since then concluded that Dumbledore is alive.

And the Petunia thing -- I have no idea how it's going to go, but I'm sure we're not finished with her yet.

I've never thought about the Petunia.
