Is it just me who noticed that in books 3 & 5, Harry learns a lot about James, then in ...

Default The Parent Transition...
Is it just me who noticed that in books 3 & 5, Harry learns a lot about James, then in book 6 he learns a tiny bit about Lily, and then in book 7 it's like Lily's in every other chapter? (And is the total focus in one?)

Didn't you notice the way, in the chapter "The Prince's Tale", on the Hogwarts Express, he didn't get nearly as excited about James as he would have if there had never been a parent transition?
