Attention Potterhead: Harry seems to get a new broom in every book. If you could name the new model, what would it be? I would like to name it THE STRATO-BLASTER.

What would you name it?

it would obiousy be the twiggerwood if u have read quiditch through the ages it was a great book and it also comes with magical creatures book.

Hi Headless: TIGGERWOOD is okay but it's like CLEANSWEEP--the name is a non-event. We have an opportunity here to improve on JKRs broom names. COMET 260 and NIMBUS 2000 and NIMBUS 2001 had a little zoom zoom if you get my drift. The name FIREBOLT is excellent. But us Potterheads can do better.

So if you were a Quiddich Player looking for power, distance, sharp turning radius and speed, what would the ideal name for a broom be?

I think STRATO-BLASTER suggests power. Can anyone think of a better name?

It would have to be called 'de Voldemort' for Harry to deride.

My broom would be called 'vacuum' 'cause I suck at this :P

the quiditch killer. this broom got its ame from the speeed and how you leave stars behind when u fly around on it(in a antraponuor kind of voice). hows that for a ride behind.

Buffy: I like the name, DE RIDE, for the new broom model. Then the ad would read: RIDE THIS! DE RIDE, the broom of the future.

Katy: Okay. THE KILLER. The ad would read: Ride a KILLER broom!

And STRATO-BLASTER. Ad: Blast yourself through the stratosphere on the new STRATO-BLASTER!

We are definitely getting warmer.

So the ad would read: SUPERCAL Your Way to the Stars on the 2005 SUPERCAL BROOM.
