My favourite book is the third one for just one reason. When I finished reading it, I was more pleased with it than when I finished reading the other books. However, all of them are fantastic.

I've enjoyed all the books.I especially liked Chamber Of Secrets because it's the only one until now that Harry has had to face a deadly and gigantic monster practicly on his own(I know he faced a Hungarian Horntail but it wasn't to the death and it was in a controled situation). That Basilisk was great and Harry did very well against him, course he get some help from Fawks but still he drove Godric's sword into the beast himself.Very cool.

I liked the Goblet of Fire because of the Tournament and all its challenges. I also like the first book just because it is so different and started it all. All of them though I really like. I have a feeling when the last one comes out it will be my favorite though.

I liked all of them as well. But I liked book three the most. Wood made me laugh. and the Shrieking Shack was neat.

I liked the 5th book very much it ust has Allot of info that we needed to know, the only part I didnt like is the fact that everyone in that book was being a moron including and especialy Harry and dumbledore, harry needed to just calm down and work on his oclumacy, but it was totaly his fault because they would not tell him why, so really it was all dumbledors fault for be as he put and Old man who thinks he knows what is best. The book how ever was written very well.

i loved the fifth book too! it was extremely funny, and it wasn't as dark as the sixth book. I loved everything that was happening with the ministry. i mean, it was really really awful, but it made the book extremely interesting, like umbridge, the floo network being watched, and the ministry not doing any action about voldemort being back. It was really awful, all the stuff the ministry did, but it made the book so interesting! and the characters really blossomed, too, i liked that a lot. :P

After re-reading the books so many times to see how they connect, I can no longer pick a favorite.* To me the books as one long story and now I think in terms of favorite chapters and paragraphs.* It's like building a pyramid.* You start out big and end up with a single point. Where have I gone wrong?*

you're right, they do progresss as one story. they all tie in together in some way, don't they? you can take the series, put them all in one enormous book, and eveyrthing would fit together perfectly. i think she knew what she wanted to do with the whole series from book one. so, really, it is hard to choose favorites, isn't it?

I love the fifth book because it has more drama and parts in it were I just want to jump in the book and slap a few people around. I think its funny and sad and it just has like every emotion that I can think of.
