I don't recall her ever saying exactly what house she's from. The closest she ever came to that was when she said her head of house she wasn't made a prefect because she couldn't behave herself. I can definitely imagine Snape saying something like that. And it could be she never actually said what house she was from because she was rather embarassed, being a member of and organization that was made up mostly of Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, and Ravenclaws. The reason this would be so cool is because she could the first Slytherin who wasn't a complete (censored)s-hole. Do you guys think she might be a slytherin? Do you think it would be kinda cool if she was?

I believe that Slytherins are opportunists and they can be calculating but we've all read that there are very few pure-bloods left in Harry Potters world. Tonks was a cousin of Sirius Black. Perhaps she is pure-blood and maybe she was in Slytherin House for that reason. Many of the wizards that went bad were in Slytherin but not all. Some Slytherins must certainly be good witches and wizards. Take the Weasley family. All of them ended up in Gryffindor. I think you would agree, Percy Weasley is not a credit to Gryffindor at the moment.

Percy Weasley is a snobby git. He's from Gryffindor. Cedric Diggory was a straight-up fly-right kind of guy. He was from Slytherin. Not everyone from Gryffindor is brave and true. Not everyone from Slytherin is a conniving snob. Each house at Hogwarts has as many variations as they have students.

hpluver4ever: Cedric was indeed from Hufflepuff. You are correct. Just before I wrote that I must have hit the 'Pause' button on my brain. In the first movie, Harry is playing in a Quidditch Match against Slytherin. Slytherin's Seeker (pre-Malfoy) looks excactly as I pictured Cedric Diggory when I read Book 4. I think my bran pulled a gypsy switch on me. Everytime I think of Cedric, I see that actor in the first movie flying on a broom with Slytherin colors. But I'm okay now.......
