I have already finished the 6th book so I won't divulge any spoliers and will try to keep this as hint free as possible.

I take it that the 7 months is a metaphor for something else, something that will be very important to the plotline for the last two books. Something that started in the second book.

As for skepticism on who the prince actually is? Think of the series of books, we have been taken on a roller coaster of a ride throughout the story.. Getting faster on out approach to the climax. This is what I immediatly pinned the 6th book down even before I purchased it. I knew this was going to tie up few answers and leave us with even more questions. More cliff hangers for the seventh and final book, which in esence will be the ending point of everything with Harry Potter and will answer and tie up any questions or loose ends we have. Think of the prince as you would think of the book, the second fastest point of the story, the event leading up to the final end.

Yes I too finished the 6th book and want to discuss it with everyone else. Good book and the rollercoster just picks up speed if you ask me because right now I cannot wait for the 7th book now. I already have an idea of something that happens in the 6th book about some initials but that is all I am saying until eveyone as finished. Great book i loved it.
