tom riddle and voldemort are the same person are they not?! tom is a yonger version of voldemort preserved in a diary. and JK said it was not Harry or Voldmort.

could it be Draco malfoy? tho hes not half blood so mayb not!!

it couldn't be dobby because hes not even a wizard and i don't think you can be a half - blood house-elf!! i cannot think of any other half - bloods in the book unless it is a very minor character.

she never said that the person had to be half blood but if it were true than thier would be a royal family of wizards that arent pure bloods that would be odd. i think we should all look at the family tree in book 5.

Hermione has no witch or wizrd blood. Both of her parents are muggles and dentists. We don't know her birth date but what if she were born in July too?

How did Hermione acquire her magical powers? Not only is she a witch, she is more gifted than other students who have at least one magical parent.

Remember that Hermione, a total muggle, received a letter from Hogwarts. So the magical community knew of her abilities. There MUST be a prophecy out there somewhere that refers to Hermione.

Don't you think it is interesting that we know of two witches now that had muggle parents. Both witches seem to have developed their abilities spontaneously. the two witches are: Hermione and Lily Potter.

Don't forget about Gilderoy Lockhart. He was in the Chamber of Secrets. His mind is currently a little shakey but maybe someone could do a memory restoration charm on him. Whaddya think? Could he be the half blood prince?

I think it is a Hogwarts Student, definately one who could not be suspected to be a Half Blood Prince.

Either a Ravenclaw, or Gryffindor. I think a Slytherin would not be HAlf-blood, and Hermione could be, but she would be a princess.

So that means that we are looking for some smarmy git in tights and a plumed hat, right?

I think we've covered just about every one who we know could be the HBP. I take that back. Nobody's mentioned Filtch yet.
